Ulverston Writers
Ulverston Writers are short story writers, novelists, poets and playwrights who meet to discuss our work each fortnightly on Wednesdays, at Owl Barn, Back Lane, (first left off Church Walk) Ulverston, at 10.30 – 1pm.
Their aims are to improve and encourage further publications of anthologies, novels, plays, poems and stories for children.
Three or four times each year, they run Saturday workshops tutored by professional fiction writers and poets, and they regularly perform our work to audiences throughout Cumbria.
Visitors to their meetings are always welcome, and we have a regular emailing to thirty members.
For further information – phone Maggie Norton on 01229 582399.
