Poets, songwriters, comedians, MC’s and rappers with original material. Spoken word not sung but could be part sung. The material must be suitable for a family audience.

How does a Slam work ?

At the beginning of the night audience members will be asked to volunteer to be judges. There will be five judges picked randomly from the audience volunteers. They will have scorecards 1-10. The other audience members will influence the judges by the volume of their cheering and applause. Each slam performer will gain a score after their three minutes on stage.
